The SED-485 data allows an RS-485 two wire LAN connection to be transferred and received on a 900 MHz low power.

It also allows an encrypted, point to point link up to 900m away (line of sight).

The SED-485 Data, has been designed to operate with such products as GE’s™ Challenger  Security System.
