SED-904 HBUS Wireless Handheld & Master

The SED-904 Handheld-Master system provides a portable wireless card reader with a real-time data connection to the client’s Gallagher™ access control system using HBUS protocol.
The Handheld is able to transmit the card data to the Master base station via a low power 915MHz (LoRa) radio module, with a line of sight range of up to 300m. The Master base station then passes the card data to the Gallagher™ access control system via RS485. The access control system can then send a signal back to the reader to provide the user with LED and buzzer feedback on the status of the card presented. This entire action takes place in real time. All RF data maintains the two-way Gallagher™ encryption to and from the reader.
